She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Whitehead and Betty Jane Whitehead (Fix); and her husband Lester H. "Butch" Simmons Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Allen W. Simmons (Doreen), Marci J. Dugan and Chrissie Henigan (Rick); her grandchildren, Cydney Simmons (Cameron Starr), Billy Dugan, McKenna Dugan (Edward Winters), Connor Dugan and Ethan Henigan; her great grandchild Kayman Starr; her sister Betty Jane Maljan; her niece Amanda Maljan; her nephew PJ Maljan (Heather); and her great-niece Kalina Maljan (Alyssa Farrell).
