He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bartakovich and Margaret Bartakovich; his daughter Diana Bartakovich; his sister Margaret Costa; and his brothers-in-law, Carmen Costa and Joseph Tomkovicz.
He is survived by: his sister Francis Jean Tomkovicz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
