He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy C. Topper; his children, Michael Topper, Karen Morrow (John), Kevin Topper (Darragh), Colleen Wigfield (Brian) and Andrew Topper; his grandchildren, Luke, Lily, Kaya, Ely, David, Emery, Cameron and Rory; his parents, Helen Gullion and Frank Topper; his siblings, Anne Berk (Fred), Frank Topper and Hayden Topper; and his nieces and nephews, Fred Topper and Shelly Borcik.
