It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Gayetty (Townville, Pennsylvania), born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Fortney and Sarah Titzel Fortney; her husband Carl Gayetty of Oil City; her children, Sarah Conley, Forest "Shorty" Carpenter and Edward Steadman; her daughter-in-law Dorothy Steadman; her stepson Marv; and her siblings, Helen, Marie and Walt.
She is survived by: her former spouses, Clyde Steadman (Mike) and Clare Carpenter; her sons, William "Bill" Steadman of Titusville, Louis L. Steadman (Marilyn) of Clintonville and David Carpenter (Mary) of Guys Mill; her grandchildren, Gail, Diane, Laura, Michelle, Michael, Helen, Peggy, Daryl, Bobbi Jo, Stacy and Josh; and her stepchildren, Jan, Kathy, Carole and Nancy.
