He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Witmer and Mae Gongloff Witmer; his sons, William "Billy" Witmer and Justin Witmer; and his siblings, William C., Kenneth Witmer and Judy Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Barb A. Fisher Witmer; his children, Terry Witmer, Jr. (Ashley English), Michael Bender, Amanda Brancato (Sal) and Jessica Fairburn (Kevin); his grandchildren, Brandon Witmer, Skylynn Bender, Maximus Brancato, Brayden, Ethan and Brynlee Fairburn; his stepgranddaughter Kiana Chiles; his sister Bonnie Ruch (Franklin); and his caregiver Mary Williard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
