In loving memory of Samuel J. Gentile Jr. of Tower City, Pennsylvania, born in Lykens, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on November 2, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sr. Gentile and Barbara Breit Gentile; his wife Joye M. Shutt Gentile; his granddaughter Angela Gentile Snyder; his son-in-law Gregory Hoover; and his siblings, Eugene Gentile (Gino) and Regina Raudenbush (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, John Gentile (Wendy Talhelm Gentile) of Selinsgrove, Debra Hoover of Mifflinburg, Samuel Gentile, III (Carmen Collier Gentile) of Elizabethville, Donna Gentile Wierzbowski (William Wierzbowski) of Middletown, Anthony Gentile (Stephanie Scheidler Gentile) of Elizabethville and Diane Gentile Klimovsky (Bob Klimovsky) of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 step great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (732 Main St, Lykens, PA 17048).
