He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Hunter and Emma Bendigo Hunter Steily; his daughter Judy Weidner; his granddaughters, Denise Lee, Diane Marie Weidner and Hope Schaeffer; and his sisters, Janet Hunter and Mae Thomas.
He is survived by: his siblings, George Hunter (Dana), Edward Hunter (Patricia), William Hunter (Rosie), Ray Hunter (Donna) and Donna Adams; and his children, Jean Danner, Enola and Marlin G. Hunter, Jr. (Meri). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
