It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Carl of Tower City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pautienus and Anna Cominsky Pautienus; her husband Albert R. Carl; her son Raymond R. Carl; her grandson Dallas Lodish; her son-in-law James O'Shaughnessy; and her siblings, Bernice Schucker, William, Edward, Joseph and Robert Pautienus.
She is survived by: her children, Janice L. Clouser (Jim), Sandi M. Mendinsky (Alex), Christine A. O'Shaughnessy, Virginia, Nancy L. Mihalko (Tim), Michael J. Carl (Jessica) and Patrick J. Carl; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Carl. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
