We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2020, at the age of 101, Dorothy Alex of Tower City, Pennsylvania, born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Swadish and Magdalene Swadish; her husband Albert Alex; her daughter Dorothy Witmer; and her granddaughter Susan Witmer.

She is survived by: her grandson Harry Witmer (Mary); her great grandchildren, Oliva Moore, Farrah Howton, Shannon Mease, Brandi, Erin and Adam Witmer; and her great great grandchildren, Andreas, Camille, Alex, Brian, Elektra, Adonis, Izzy, Caeylon, Kairi and Sabastian.

Donations in Dorothy's name can be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel, c/o Parish office, 113 Cherry Street, Tremont, PA 17981.
