He is survived by: his son Charles "Chip" Gonder (Corie); his son-in-law Ralph Fickinger; his grandchildren, Kelley Ney (Steve), Riley Fickinger (Kelly Deitrich), Shiann Wolfe, Colin and Chloe Gonder; his great grandchildren, Carter Fickinger and Ryder Ney; his siblings-in-law, Janice Picola (Joseph) and James Hentz; and his nephew Jimmy Hentz.
