He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gibson and Hannah Wolff Gibson; his son Troy Shadle; and his siblings, Robert, Charles Gibson, Anna Mae Getz and Helen Hornberger.
He is survived by: his close friend Kay Shadle; his children, Jeff Shadle (Shelly), Richard Gibson (Vicki) and Christina Schaeffer (Paul); and his siblings, George Gibson (Karen) and Sue Ann Kauffman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren' nieces and nephews.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery.
