He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Bennett and Millie Huffman Bennett; and his siblings, Betty Bennett Kipp, Melvin L. Bennett, Robert C. Bennett, Richard J. Bennett and Wesley L. Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ammerman Bennett; his children, Edward T. Bennett (Joan) of Montrose, PA, David C. Bennett (Anita) of Luthers Mills, PA and Diane L. Bennett; his friend Kelly Clark of Monroeton, PA; his grandchildren, Sharon Clark of Kansas, Matthew E. Bennett of Meshoppen, PA, Christopher Bennett of Ohio, Mary E. Bennett of Montrose, PA and Jamie R. Dunn of Big Flats, NY; his siblings, Dorothy Bennett Chaffin of Punta Gorda, FL, Charles A. Bennett of Florida, Mason W. Bennett (Bonnie) of Corning, NY, James B. Bennett (Linda) of Punta Gorda, FL and Dale I. Bennett (Lynn) of East Smithfield, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Kipp of New Albany, PA and Carol Ammerman Busch of Manhattan, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
