He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Maxine French of Ebony, VA; his wife Marjorie M. "Margie" Johnson; his parents, Guy David French and Alice Irene Stevens French; his siblings, David Ernest French, Francis Clifton French, Robert Duane French, James Bruce French, Minnie Amelia "Peggy" Zeidler, Edna Louise Baton, Patricia Ann Rogers and Ada French Barnum; and his nieces and nephews, Nancy Rogers, Barbara Pardoe Huynh, Jacqueline Pardoe Clark, Michael Pardoe, Andrew Pardoe and Lincoln Edward-Hugh Brookens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles French of Ebony, VA and Violet Koser of Macedonia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be directed to the Stevens Cemetery, Standing Stone, PA in care of James Pardoe, 2035 River Road, Wysox, PA 18854 in memory of Rosby Nelson French.
