She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sczepaniak and Viola Kowalczyk Sczepaniak; her husband Newman W. Benson; her brother Gregory Sczepaniak; and her nephew Steven Sczepaniak.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Salpino (Rose) of Quakertown, PA, Ronald Salpino (Brooke) of Dunnellen, FL and Robert Salpino (Irina) of Spring, TX; her grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlin, Ronald, Zoey, Robert and Jonathan; and her siblings, Kathleen Parrish, Theresa Burick and Joseph Burick. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
