With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel M. Coston of Towanda, Pennsylvania, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gowin and Meriel Gowin (Evans); her son Joseph P. Coston; and her siblings, Sandra Miller, Chris Packard, John Gowin Richard Gowin, Tom Gowin and William Jr. (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Coston (Amy) of Horseheads, NY, Clara Fiske (Greg) of Woodbourne, NY and Michelle Dutton (Terry) of Towanda, PA; her grandchildren, Ashley McAllister (Javan), Jacob Dutton, Tiffany Coston, Brandon Coston, Derek Coston, Roman Coston, Parker Coston, Johnny Fiske, Joshua Fiske, Collin Carnrike (Alysa), Megan Park and Payton Park; her great grandchild Cameron Carnrike; her siblings, Barbara Hayward, Debbie DeVuyst, Betty Vanderpool of Wysox, PA, Carol Minard of Towanda, PA, Cheryl Ulrich of Williamsport, PA, Melinda Gowin of Ithaca, NY and David Gowin (Ann) of Luther Mills, PA; and her former husband John "Fossil" Coston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
