He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. McKernan and Laura Haflett McKernan. He is survived by: his children, Theresa, Jeff Beaumont of Towanda, Eddie, Debbie McKernan of Towanda, Lisa and Ed; his grandchildren, J. T., Becky McKernan, Zoe, John Woodruff, Mia McKernan, Sheena Wyzga (Kyle), Courtney, Casey Abbott, Zach, Gabby Slater, Alyssa Jackson, Caleb, Karlie Taylor (Joey) and Shelby McKernan; his great grandchildren, Lillianna, Lylah Bride, Laney Wyzga, Colten, Alexis, Aria Woodruff, Jayden, Rylan, Braysen McKernan, Holden Abbott and Alyssa Jackson; his siblings, Mike McKernan of Monroeton, Robert McKernan (Carol) of Hershey, MI, Elizabeth Rich (Eddie) of Angier, NC and Ruth Cleveland (Joseph) of Towanda; his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Deborah McKernan; his grandchildren, Cyle Wood, Jennifer, Marcus and Ridge McKernan; his sister Mary "Carolyn"; and his brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Radney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
