She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Mahoney and Evelyn McKernan Mahoney; her husband James E. Herda; her daughter-in-law Frances Mary "Fran" Herda; her sister Barbara Mahoney Patterson; her brother-in-law John L. Patterson; and her sister Mary Bailey.
She is survived by: her son Robert E. Herda of Towanda; her grandson Robert E. Herda II; and her great grandchildren, Giuseppe Mazzella, Bosco, Jalynn and Jordin Herda. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
