Ross (Towanda, Pennsylvania), born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Cron Hunsinger and George Hunsinger; and his siblings, Timothy Carl Ross (Tammy Jo Ross), Jesse Ross, Andy Ross, Paul Ross, Jean Horsky, Charlotte M. Kretzner, Grace Boyle, Irene Fitzpatrick and Mary Lacy.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Strong Ross; his children, Linda Hemenway (Roger), Kimberly Ferris (Curtis) and Jeffrey Ross (Karen); his grandchildren, Amy McElrath, Matthew Green, Katie Fischer, Nathaniel Hemenway, Derick Ferris, Jerad Ferris, Stacey Ferris, Molly Ross and Ryan Ross; and his siblings, Beverly Vangelder, Myrtle Derx (Jonny) and Anna Flanagan (James). He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be directed to the Herrick Township Volunteer Fire Company, HOPS Road, Wyalusing, PA 18853 or to the HOPS Ambulance Association, 6185 Herrickville Road, Wyalusing, PA 18853 in memory of Frederick C. Ross.
