It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Donovan of Towanda, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis W. Donovan and Jane E. Donovan (Ackley); his brothers, Walter L. Donovan, Edward A. Donovan and Robert J. Donovan; his father-in-law Paul D. Hitchcock; and his siblings-in-law, David Duane "Zeke" Hitchcock, Robert "Bob" Sturdevant and Janice Donovan.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Hitchcock Donovan; his daughter Danielle Marie Donovan; his siblings, Mertie Sturdevant of North Carolina and Charles W. Donovan of Wysox; his mother-in-law Louise K. Hitchcock of Wysox; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra, Gary Cook of Colorado, Dale and Jacey Hitchcock of Rome, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family suggests that contributions be directed to a charity or organization of one's choice in memory of David L. Donovan.
