It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard F. Townsend of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Townsend and Marguerite Townsend (Buck); and his brother John Scott Townsend. He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Townsend (Glen Brown) of Pittston and Meghan Townsend of Nazareth; and his brothers, Douglas Townsend (Donna) of Virginia, Henry "Hank" Townsend (Barbara) of East Stroudsburg and Robert Townsend (Donna) of East Stroudsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
