He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whitney and Dorothy Whitney (Hellrigel); his son Henry Whitney Jr.; and his sister Debbie Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Diane Whitney (Tuite); his daughters, Jennifer Bendowski (Brad) of Mountain Top and Therese Whitney Toth (Richard) of Henryville; and his siblings, William "Butch" Whitney (Marilyn) of Washington, John Whitney (Betty) of Susquehanna and Dorothy Disbrow (Dennis) of Phillipsburg. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
