He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D. Rider and Catharine Rider (Hulitt); his wife Shirley Rider (Keiper); his sons, Harry D. Rider IV and Brian K. Rider; his granddaughter Megan A. Rider; and his sisters, Carletta Rider and Kathleen Buckley.
He is survived by: his son Bradley Rider (Cindi) of Tobyhanna; his daughter-in-law Kristin Rider of Tannersville; his grandchildren, Harry D. Rider V, Briana B. Rider, Paul W. Rider, Anthony Pulli, Brent Pulli and Gage Haas; his great grandchildren, Jamisen Rider and Carson Rider; and his siblings, Effie Vranka, Bonnie Rine and James Rider. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
