He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Gerard Mele and Mildred Bickens Ryan; and his sister Patricia Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Laura Rita Mele; his children, Meghan Mele of Tobyhanna, PA and Anthony Mele (Chiara) of Hoboken, NJ; and his siblings, Robert Mele (Nancy) of Clifton, NJ, Trudi Zaccone (Fred) of Clifton, NJ and Kelly Terrana (Joseph) of Bayonne, NJ.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and the lifelong friends he called his brothers.
