She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cartney and Marian O'Brien Cartney; her brother-in-law Don Stewart of Hydetown; her sons, Richard and John Slagle; her daughter-in-law Kathy Slagle; her grandson Matthew Slagle; her siblings, Bill (Carol Cartney), John, Jr. (Jane Cartney), Tom Cartney (Mike), Ann Cartney (James "Fuzz"), Patty Cartney (Den Cartney), Pat Cartney (Marg), Ralph Hoffman (Kay), Ken Tracey (Fran) and Pete Myers (Ruth Stewart); her parents-in-law, Homer and Lillian Slagle; and her siblings-in-law, Doris, Warren Foltz, Barry and Tootie Slagle.
She is survived by: her husband Don Slagle of Titusville; her children, Bob Slagle (Jean) of Frewsburg, NY, Sue Edwards (Ken) of Grand Valley, Ruth Slagle of Wyngate, NC and Don Slagle, Jr. (Beth) of Waxahachi, TX; her sisters, Helen Quimby of Titusville and Jane Sargent (Tom) of Millcreek; and her sister-in-law Mary Carol Cartney of Titusville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
