He was predeceased by: his parents, Garwood D. Hopwood and Eleanor Chilcott Hopwood; his wife JoAnn E. Miller; and his brother William H. Hopwood. He is survived by: his daughter Dianne McCandless (Tim) of Titusville; and his granddaughter Erin McCandless of Erie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
