He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Showers and Belle Galbraith Showers; his son Brian Showers; and his siblings, James G. Showers and Jeanette Van Valkenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Jones of Titusville; his son Robert J. Showers (Kimberly) of Conneaut, OH; and his granddaughters, Natasha Showers of Conneaut, OH, Marcedez Showers of Dorset, OH and Alexis Stock of Bucyrus, OH. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
