He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Reba Elliot Young; his siblings, Frank, Howard, Elbert Young and Donna Haynes; and his grandson Jamie.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Maginnis Young; his children, Chris Young (Mike), Billie Fielding (Pat), Kelly Young and Richard A. Young; his sisters, Dorothy Saunders and Shirley McAndrew (Joe); his grandchildren, Cody, Steven, Seth, Dayton, Caitlin, Joshua and Jesse; and his niece Becky Berlin (Terry).
