With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Thompson of Titusville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shairl "Rabbit" Thompson and Elizabeth "Betty" Kinney Thompson; his wife Ruby Leona Walston of Goldsboro, NC; and his brother Arthur "Art" Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Deb Cherry (Mike) of Grand Valley, Brenda Strawbridge (Dick Hunt) of Titusville and Rick Thompson (Judy) of Titusville; his grandchildren, Bobi Cherry of Centerville, Travis Strawbridge (Fireray) of Titusville, Mike Cherry Jr. (Jen) of Corry, Hunter Thompson of Titusville and Tasha Roggenkamp (Cole) of Titusville; his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Isabelle, Caleb, Adalyn, Jayden, Austin, Kayedence, Gunner and Layla; his great great grandchild Eleanor Ruby; and his sisters, Ann Burrows of Titusville and Gloria "Jean" Thompson of Titusville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
