She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Proper and Esther Armstrong Proper; and her siblings, Donald Proper, Dale Proper and Lois Proper.
She is survived by: her husband George Mehalko; her daughter Sonia Herz (Steve) of Danville, CA; her grandsons, Nathaniel Herz (Kristi) and Jason Herz (Cassie); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Madison and Nolan Herz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
