It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ann Osborn of Titusville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Watson Heldman and Chester Heldman; her brother Chester Heldman; her husband Jim Osborn; and her former husband Dr. Philip S. LaVerde.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce LaVerde (Angie) of Decatur, AL, Steve LaVerde (Nancy) of Richardson, TX and Stacey Sopher (Matt); her grandchildren, Matt Sopher III of Dawson, PA and Evelyn Sopher of St. Petersburg, FL; her brother John Heldman (Kathy) of The Woodlands, TX; and her sister-in-law Rannie Lou Heldman of Lee's Summit, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church in Oil City, the Oil City Library, Boggy Creek Gang or as Marilyn would often say, "Do something for someone less fortunate.".
