He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gerner and Margaret Hovis Gerner; and his siblings, Charles Gerner and Loretta Slater. He is survived by: his sister Dolores Burlett of Beaver, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Gerner of Coudersport and Russell Slater of Butler. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
