He was predeceased by: his father Howard Waitz; and his son Randy Lee Waitz. He is survived by: his mother Irene Mong Waitz; his wife Carole Payne; his daughters, Wendy (Scott Warner) and Dr. Rainy Waitz of Titusville; and his sister-in-law Debra Swager of McKeesport.
