Kenneth E Wagner Obituary

Mr. Kenneth E. Wagner, 77, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Oil City Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Franklin on May 11, 1941 to the late Benson and Rachel Sharp Wagner. Ken graduated from Titusville High School, class of 1960. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having obtained a disability while he was in the service.

He entered the service on July 19, 1960 and was honorably discharged on July 24, 1964. Ken married Bernice L. Warner on April 10, 1965 in Titusville at Christian Missionary Alliance Church. He worked at Sylvania, Cytemp Specialty Steel for twenty-seven years, and Cross Creek Resort for eight years. Ken enjoyed farming, woodworking, hunting, working on his tractors, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Bernice; four children, Brenda Aul and husband Mark of Pleasantville, LeRoy Wagner and wife Kimberly, Tracy Karns and husband Craig, and Eric Wagner and wife Valerie all of Titusville; seven grandchildren, Michael Aul, Emily Aul, Kristen Karns, Autumn Karns, Hunter Wagner, Brooke Wagner, and Hailey Wagner; a brother, Harley Wagner; ten sisters, June Kelly, Joanne Slater, Shirley Bromley, Nancy Eddy, Esther Baum, Elizabeth Walters, Sue Silvis, Connie Post, Kathryn Hewitt, and Linda Vroman.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, Robert Wagner, Donald Wagner, and infants Charles and Carol Wagner. Friends and family may call at the Hennes-Garrett Funeral Home, 203 E. Main St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM, and Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM, at which time the funeral service will begin with full military honors and Pastor Rick Fuchs officiating.

Interment will be in Breedtown Cemetery.
