With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Galletta of Titusville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Galletta and Angeline Cicatella Galletta; his former spouse Ethna Cooper; his wife Della Prather Giewont; his son Lloyd Eugene Galletta; his stepson Neil Giewont; his stepgrandson Richard Westerlund; his daughter-in-law Marybeth Galletta; and his siblings, Carmella Moyer, Ignatius "Iggy" Galletta and Charles Galletta.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Bidwell (Larry Bidwell) of Centerville, Jan Drost of Slippery Rock, Darrell Galletta of Warren and Dale "Jeff" Galletta (Teresa) of Russell; his stepchildren, Vince Giewont (Kelly) of Orlando, FL, Victoria Foltz (Gordon) of Union City and Cathi "Susie" Manfrey (Steve) of Prattville, AL; and his sisters, Mickelina Ciepleclowicz of Erie and Romie Wright of Erie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
