She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ringhoff and Anna Ringhoff (Maleski); her husband Ronald N. Gates (Jack Spencer); and her siblings, Barbara Loudenberry, Dot Brodt, Jane Gerhardt, Pauline Gruver, Evelyn Smith, Arthur, Francis and John Ringhoff.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Gates of Pleasantville, Cheryl Burton (Robert) of Tionesta and Darla Gates of Titusville; her grandchildren, Tyler Gates of Centennial, CO, Taylor Kramer (Camron) of Pleasantville, Cory Burton (Valerie) of Bentleyville and Dylan Burton of Tionesta; her great grandchildren, Heath, Reid and Grant Burton; her brothers, Charles Ringhoff, Harold Ringhoff (Virginia), Leonard Ringhoff (Pam), George Ringhoff and Gary Ringhoff (Michael); and her brother-in-law Jim Kuhn (Martha Miller).
