He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon J. McNierney and Eleanor Bronson McNierney; his siblings, William F. McNierney, Dr. Bronson J. McNierney, Stephen W. McNierney, Clara Doyle and Margaret McPhillips; and his close friend Peggy Nunn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
