He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Chase and Mary Collage Chase; and his brothers, Fred, Rodger and Edward Chase.
He is survived by: his wife Leah Louise Chase of Titusville; his children, Laura J. Gantz (David) of Spartansburg, Gay E. Phillips (John H.) of Centerville and Jay N. Chase of Titusville; his grandchildren, Joel Richard Allen Chase (Victoria) of Redding, CA, Dylan John Scott Chase of Rochester, NY, Michelle Margery Parker of Canadohta Lake, Lindsay Nicolle Parker-Walters (Andrew "Bud") of Erie, Jamie Leah Parker of Spartansburg, Nicholas Chase Phillips of Erie and Adam John Phillips of Titusville; his great grandchildren, Lennon, Milo Chase, Alexander Ryan and MacKennzy Araya Lutton; and his sister-in-law Ruth Chase of Hawaii.
