He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Farren and Laura Daugherty Farren. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis B. Whitmire Motter; his children, Nancy Donaldson (Scott) of Galloway, Daniel Farren (Michele) of Oil City and Peggie Knight (Mark); and his stepchildren, Rahn of Titusville, Karen Motter of Titusville, Gary of Titusville, Cindy Motter of Titusville, Edward of Titusville and Valerie Motter of Titusville.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
