It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald R. Shaffer (Titusville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren C. Shaffer and Marjorie Crawford Shaffer; his daughter Kimberley Shaffer Brown; his granddaughter Christina Hutton; his daughter-in-law Debra Biddle; and his siblings, Carol June Shaffer and Harold Bruce Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol of Titusville; his children, Julie Kunselman (T. Lee), Gerald Russell Schneider, John Biddle (Amy), Donald Biddle, Sr. (Carol), Daniel Biddle (Becky), Matthew Dewey (Tammy), Susan Hutton and Audrea Davenport (Doug); and his brother Larry Shaffer (Melissa). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
