He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer S. Slagle and Lillian Robertson Slagle; his wife Suzanne Cartney; his sons, Richard and John Slagle; his daughter-in-law Kathy Slagle; his grandson Matthew Slagle; his siblings, Doris Foltz and Barry Slagle; and his pet Sniffers.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Slagle (Jean) of Frewsburg, NY, Sue Edwards (Ken) of Grand Valley, Ruth Slagle of Wingate, NC and Don Slagle, Jr. (Beth) of Waxahachie, TX. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
