He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Newman and Violet (Johns); his siblings, James Newman, Thomas Newman and Dennis Woodside; his wife Shawna Newman (Mattes); his sons, Sonny Newman, Phoenix and Caleb Unger; his cousins, Patrick and Connor Delaney; his mother-in-law LuAnn Mattes; his siblings-in-law, Mike, Kelly Dzambik, Dallas Hotchkiss and Cherie Doman; and his nieces and nephews, Kyrah, Janiea, Julieonna, Karleena Dzambik, Kaydance Hotchkiss, Rosie Doman, Logan Umpierre and Ethan Doman.
