He is survived by: his wife Linda D. McWilliams Bemis; his children, Byron Bemis (Jill) of Newark, OH and Michelle Remington (Tom) of Kooskia, ID; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew Bemis and Emily Remington; and his siblings, William Bemis and Cynthia Meals.
