He is survived by: his wife Donna Shaffer (Brewer); his son Doug Shaffer (Marie); his grandchildren, Kenny Shaffer, Julie Woodson (Russell "Woody") of Little River and Nikki Shaffer of Murrells Inlet; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and McKenzie Woodson of Little River; and his brother Don Shaffer (Jane) of Minneapolis, Minnesota..
