He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Chicka and Goldie Sheffler Chicka; his brothers, Alan and David; his children, Michael Steve Chicka III (Ginger) and Shawney Hines; his grandchild Gia Chicka; and his sisters, Debi Gross (Frank), Lauretta Eisler (Mark), Romayne Carter, Patty (Gary), Vickie (Barry), Connie, Joyce (Charlie) and Terrie. He was also cherished by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

“To know him was to love him. A man that has helped mine and my brothers family selflessly for over 20 years. A man who has become part of our family. The early morning coffee while everyone is still sleeping or the blaring radio that you seemed to forget to turn off for the past 20 years. Most of all was how you loved and cared for our kids. The endless tractor rides, the buckets of candy and the talks around a campfire. Uncle Mux you are loved and will be truly missed.”
