He was predeceased by: his parent Donald J. Wolbert; his brother Ronald "Bowe" Wolbert; and his grandparents, Florence and Sebastian Wolbert. He is survived by: his parent Vera M. "Betty" Wolbert (Lutz); his wife Patricia L. Wolbert (Roman Catholic Church); his children, D. J. Wolbert III (Wendy Ann) of New Tripoli, PA. and Cheri L. Switzer (Nathan E.) of Tionesta; his grandchildren, Reece Wolbert of New Tripoli, PA, Nicholas Johnson of Tennessee, Brodi Switzer of Knox, PA and Colby Whitehill of Brookville; his great grandchild Gaven Boylan of Hooker, PA.; his siblings, Dennis Lutz (Celia) of Wichita, KS, Gary "Pete" Wolbert, Linda "Minnie" Siegel (Dan) of Tylersburg, PA and Darlene "Deedee" Wolbert; and his sister-in-law Susan Wolbert of Shippenville, PA..
