It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amy Jo Hale of Tionesta, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ralph E. Cotton. She is survived by: her mother Wilda E. Cotton (Morrow) of Franklin; her daughter Allison Hale of Cheyenne, Wyoming; her siblings, Betsy Graham (Doug) of Franklin, Julie Buckholtz (Jeff) of Franklin and Brian Cotton (Debbie) of York; her nieces and nephews, Kristin, Kylie, Katelyn, Garrett, Gavin and Genna; and her siblings-in-law, Sam, Terrie Hale of Titusville, Dave, Carol Richie of Tionesta and Lynnette Fedora of Tionesta.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Cranberry Closet to help with "The Christmas Jars", to provide gifts to students in need. Donations may be sent to Cranberry Area High School, c/o Lori Corbett, One Education Drive, Seneca, PA 16346.

“I’m Frank owens her ex husband and the father of Allison. I’m deeply sorry for the months of suffering that Amy did during her cancer. I never ever wished any harm to Amy. I pray for my daughter and I miss her so much. For all that reads this message from me I pray for Amy’s family.Her husband,mom,brother’s,sisters, and all her family. I met Amy years ago when Missy and I ran an add for a roommate, what we didn't know is that she would become one of our dearest friends for life.
