He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Francis Kiernan and Dolores McCormick Kiernan; his son Thomas A. Kiernan II; and his sister Noreen. He is survived by: his significant other Jonita Gedid; and his siblings, Dolores Kiernan Bramer, Kiernan Nowak, John Kiernan, Charles Kiernan, Eleanor Kiernan Fox, Mary Kiernan (Joseph), Antonioli Kiernan and Pat Kiernan. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews.
