She was predeceased by: her parents, William Horning and Julia Horning (Murray); her husband Lewis; her grandson Chad Chappell; and her siblings, Helen Smith, Hilda Marks (AZ), Ester Kennedy (FL), Minnie Kenndy (FL), Linda Massman (NM), Nancy Merritt of Troy, PA, Merle Horning, Jake Horning and Duane Horning.
She is survived by: her children, William Chappell of Millerton, David Chappell (Patty) of Millerton, Danny Chappell of Tioga and LuAnn Wheeler (Bob) of Tioga; her grandchildren, Daran (Darcie), Lindsay (Fred), Blair, Jordan, Chance and Katelyn (Vinny); and her pet Cocoa (Sally DeMay). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; many special nieces, nephews.
