He was predeceased by: his parent William F. Shaw. He is survived by: his parent Joan A. Shaw (Kobulnicky); his spouse Kelly Shaw (Torbert); his children, Garrett W. Shaw and Jessica J. Bardo (Ron) of Coudersport, PA.; his grandchildren, William and Ellana Bardo; his sister Cheryl Morici (Mark) of Warren; his brother-in-law Jeff Torbert (Kim) of Elizabeth, PA.; his parents-in-law, Harry and Linda Torbert of Coal Center, PA.; his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Abby, Josh Morici, Marissa Murphy and Madison Torbert; and his uncle Jerry Kobulnicky of Port Vue. He is also survived by cousins, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorial contributions to be sent the Hillman Cancer Center 5115 Centre Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15232.

“My heart is breaking hearing the news of Bill's passing. My parents (Sam and Carolyn Lee) were very good friends of Bill's parents "Aunt" Joanie and "Uncle" Bill and between our camps at Tidioute, camping together at Shenango, Pymatuning and the Delaware shore, card clubs, and holidays, me and my brothers and sister grew up with Bill. I'm very sorry to say we lost touch with him and Kelly and Cheryl after their parents passed. I hope you both see this and realize how very sad my whole family is for you and all of his family and send our love and deepest condolences. My Dad passed away in July, I hope they are all reuniting in Heaven sharing memories. God bless, Peggy Lee Higgins Irwin PA”
