He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. "Boone" and Ellen Jeanne Downey (Owens); and his grandparents, Gordon, Fern Downey (Parker), Charles and Florence Owens (Donaldson).
He is survived by: his son Jacob R. Downey of Washington, PA; his grandson Cilix R. Downey; and his siblings, Kathy Hall (Don) of Tionesta, PA and Greg Downey (Karin) of Tidioute. He is also survived by niece, three nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
